Welcome to Two Doors Down Cafe, a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Derby, Tasmania. This charming cafe is not just a place to grab a coffee; it’s a community hub that invites you to relax, unwind, and indulge in a delectable assortment of treats.

As you step into Two Doors Down, you’re greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere, where the friendly baristas are always up for a chat. This casual spot boasts a lovely outdoor seating area with picnic tables that beckon you to enjoy your meal al fresco, especially on sunny mornings. Relax under the open sky, sip your coffee, and perhaps catch up on some mountain biking magazines available for your reading pleasure—a perfect way to start the day.

The menu is refreshingly straightforward, featuring a selection that emphasizes quality over quantity. While the offerings are limited, they are undoubtedly made with care and showcased beautifully. Customers rave about the vibrant flavors of the dishes served here. For instance, one guest named Walter had an unexpected yet delightful culinary experience, mistaking a vegetarian bagel for a salmon bagel but was pleasantly surprised by the sweet potato alternative. It's this kind of delightful food adventure that characterizes Two Doors Down.

However, it's important to keep in mind that the cafe can get a bit bustling at times. As noted in some reviews, you may encounter some confusion when it comes to menu items and their descriptions. But fear not; the staff's friendly and helpful demeanor will ease any uncertainties. Dean shares that the team here is always ready to assist, making your visit enjoyable, while DW appreciates the beautifully presented dishes that highlight simple yet delicious flavors.

The coffee is another highlight here; customers like 'dont break' testify to the quality of the brews. Though latte art might be minimal, the flat white and other coffee variations are well-balanced and will undoubtedly awaken your senses. Just be sure to double-check your milk choice, as Braden humorously noted his experience with almond milk. Regardless, the sweet offerings, like the choc berry tart, promises a delightful balance of sweet and savory, making it the ideal companion for your coffee break.

Two Doors Down Cafe is a must-visit when you're in Derby, combining friendly service, inviting decor, and a fantastic menu that caters to both locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re looking for a casual spot to fuel up before hitting the nearby trails or a cozy corner to savor a slice of cake, this cafe promises a memorable experience with every visit. Wonderful Cafe in main street with great outdoor seating on picnic tables. Friendly service, but a bit overrun. Had trouble finding a menu, and food doesn't show proce labels, or even descriptions. But it all looked wonderful, and what looked like a salmon bagel I was told was a vegetarian bagel but turned out to be a sweet potato bagel... some other food confusion as well but all was tasty none the less, atmosphere and staff all very cheerful and friendly.

The girls that work here are so friendly and helpful. Wonderful outdoor seating and a heap of mountain biking magazines to read through as you're sitting out in the morning sun enjoying some of their excellent coffee. It's a great place to start the day.

Great place to stop for coffee and cake… let those motorbikes go ahead ;) *Double check they used the right milk. I asked for Almond and swear it was cow's milk. Fortunately no accidents, just nausea

Simple and good coffee for the fair (average) price. Not too bitter. I had a flat white. No latte art but dont judge by the looks. Choc berry tart was very delicious, not too sweet. Clean public toilet across the road. Tas free wifi available. Also sells stickers and accessories for mountain bikes.

Very casual atmosphere which is exactly what you'd expect in a quiet country cafe. Staff were beautiful and very chatty. Coffees were good, and the food was presented well with good simple flavours. Not too much on the menu available but that's good if you don't want to make too many decisions!

We visited Derby a few years ago, surprised at how much has changed. Stopped here for a coffee and snacks on our way to Launceston. Two Doors is located in a nicely designed building, MTB biking and local community vib. Good coffee, choice of indoor or outdoor umbrella seating. Limited car parking so maybe a good bike access option.
